In honor of Thanksgiving, here’s the World’s Largest Fork

by in Missouri

For better or for worse, Thanksgiving has become the U.S. holiday o’ food. So, what better way to celebrate than by viewing the World’s Largest Fork?

The fork, which is owned by Noble & Associates, a Springfield marketing and advertising agency focusing on food, is 35 feet tall — and lighted for your night-time viewing pleasure.

The location is peaceful on the weekend, but bustles during weekday working hours. Plan your visit accordingly, and be sure to schedule a few minutes to visit Garbo’s Pizzeria down the street. (You can thank me later.)

Until next time … may this be the year you transition from the kiddie card table to the grown-up’s dining area, and may all your festivities be satisfying.
